Vietnam Urged to Train More Cambodian Pilots

PANO – General Mam Sam, Vice Chief of Joint Staff of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces cum Chief of Cabinet to the Chief of General Staff of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, paid a working visit to the Air Force Officers School, under the Air Defence and Air Force Service on June 13th.

At the reception, Major-General Nguyen Duy Cuong, Headmaster of the Air Force Officers School, briefed Cambodian delegates on the unit’s traditions and achievements in education and training over the past years. Up to now, the school provided 17 training courses for 104 Cambodian pilots and aeronautical technicians.

For his part, General Mam Sam thanked the school for the warm welcome and hoped that in the coming time, more Cambodian pilots and technician will be trained at the Air Force Officers School to apply their knowledge to their units’ practical conditions after fulfilling the courses, making contribution to fostering the relationship between two nations’ people and armies.
