The Philippine Air Force (PAF) restored at least 19 aircraft to operational status by the end of 2003, according to Logistics Command spokesman Maj Rozzano Briguez. This, he says, "arrested the steady decline of PAF air assets", which has averaged five platforms annually over the past decade.

The restored aircraft include: six OV-10 Broncos, MG-520 Defenders and SF-260TP Warriors of the PAF's 15th Strike Wing; seven UH-1H helicopters of the 205th Helicopter Wing; two T-41D Cessnas and one SF-260 aircraft of the Air Education and Training Command; one Sikorsky S-76 helicopter of the 505th Search and Rescue Group; one TC690 Aero Commander of the Air Intelligence Group; and an LC-210 of the 900th Weather and Reconnaissance Group.
